Mr. L. Fleming

Mr. L. Fleming was born in New York and is the son of world renown percussionist Leopoldo Fleming and grandson to legendary bass player Leo Fleming, it was only natural that music would be his passion. Taught to read music at a young age and played several instruments at home, Mr. Fleming would embark on a wonderful musical journey.

Learning the saxophone in Junior High School, he traveled to London, England with the Bronx District 8 Junior High School All Star Band where he formed his first band "Energy Source" with lifelong friend, Ronnie "Guitar Ron" Gibbs.

After relocating to the US Virgin Islands, Mr. Fleming would perform with world class musicians and singers as a member of The Starlites, Deep Unda Kova and Code 9 bands. A short retun to the United States, Mr. Fleming gained more musical connections playing with the likes of Tropical Steel and CL West & Touch Of Class.

Mr. Fleming later became a Praise & Worship Leader at Agape Healing & Deliverance Ministries as well as Word Of Truth Ministries in Orlando, Florida. He also performed briefly with the Gospel Choir at New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida. He continued his music ministry at the Crawford Memorial and Wakefield Grace United Methodist Churches as Co-director and piano accompanist of The Youth and Children's Choirs. The main mission for this outreach program was to expand and nourish young minds through the gift of music via music lessons (piano, drums, guitar and voice). Mr. Fleming also performed with the Mass Choir at Fellowship Covenant Church in the Bronx, New York.

He returned to the US Virgin Islands and is currently performing as a member of Quelbe Resurrection, as a bassist, keyboard player, and also is a music producer of a few projectts.
